AT MELMERBY CHURCH last Sunday, I was delighted to see that as a matter of course - even though there were no children present - a few grapes were there on the paten in case youngsters were at the altar rail.
I really like this idea. We have children regularly for a blessing at communion, so I'll need to have a think about how we could practically make something like this work. Thank you !
